Sauna blankets and direct-to-consumer cabin brands have discounted reliably in past Novembers; sauna heaters mostly haven't; Amazon-listed cabins run rolling "list price" markdowns all year, which is why we show you today's live price next to Amazon's list figure instead of promising a percentage. This page is built to be useful right now and to get better in November: the history below is sourced, the buy-or-wait calls are per product class, and every price on it is live from the Amazon Creators API. We don't invent deals, discounts or price predictions, and we won't start in Q4.
Deals will be posted here when they go live. When Black Friday and Cyber Monday sauna deals actually start in November 2026, this page is where we list them — with the live price layer doing the checking, so a "deal" only appears if the current Amazon price is genuinely below what we've been tracking. Until then, nothing on this page is a deal claim. Amazon has not yet announced its 2026 Black Friday Week dates; in 2025 it ran November 20 through Cyber Monday, December 1.
What historically discounts in this category
We went through the 2025 retailer pages and the two largest fitness-press deal roundups rather than guessing. The pattern is consistent, and it splits by who sells the thing more than by what it is.
- Sauna blankets — the most reliable discounters. HigherDOSE ran "up to 30% off recovery gear" for Black Friday 2025 and 20% off sitewide with 30% off bundles for Cyber Monday; it also discounted the Amazon-listed blanket by 25% for Prime Day in June 2026. LifePro advertised "up to 50% off recovery gear". Blankets are small, ship in a box, and the brands sell direct and on Amazon — exactly the profile that gets a November promotion.
- Direct-to-consumer cabin and barrel brands — deep, but mostly off Amazon. Sunlighten advertised "up to $1,800 off infrared saunas" plus 25% off accessories for Black Friday and "up to $2,000 off" for Cyber Monday; Almost Heaven ran 30% off eligible products (35% on its Heritage line); Sun Home, Redwood Outdoors and Select Saunas all posted dollar-off or up-to-30% offers in the same roundups. These are premium brands that sell direct or through dealers — we cover several editorially, but they are not the Amazon listings we price on this site.
- Amazon-listed cabins and barrels — markdowns, but not seasonal ones. The mid-market cabins we rank (Dynamic, Maxxus, HeatWave, ZONEMEL, Backyard Discovery) show strike-through list prices on Amazon at various points through the year — you can see which ones do today in the tracker below. That is the key thing to understand about Black Friday in this category: a "30% off list" badge in November is not automatically a lower price than the one in October. Compare the live number, not the badge.
- Accessories — small percentages, small dollars. Sunlighten's 25% off accessories is typical of what the category does; on a hat or a thermometer that is a few dollars. Nice if it lands, not worth waiting for.
- Cold plunges — the DTC brands discount alongside saunas. Plunge advertised 15% off through November for Black Friday and 25% off cold plunges for Cyber Monday; Sun Home bundled plunges into its sauna offers. The inflatable Amazon tubs we rank are already at the low end of the market and were not part of those promotions.
What rarely discounts
Sauna heaters. Almost Heaven's 2025 sale was 30% off "all eligible products, excluding heaters" — the exclusion is written into the offer. Across the roundups we checked, no retailer advertised a storewide heater promotion, and Harvia, Turku and VEVOR stoves on Amazon do not show the list-price markdown pattern the cabins do. A heater is a component with a stable cost and a thin margin; if you need one for a build, we found no evidence that waiting for November has paid off historically. Genuine Finnish accessories (Rento essence, olivine stones) behave the same way — imported, low-margin, rarely promoted. And the premium DTC cabins that do discount do so on their own sites, with delivery windows that often run past Christmas; the discount is real, the tree-day delivery usually is not.

How to not get fooled in November
Three habits. First, anchor on today's number. Note the live price of your pick now; in November, compare the sale price to that, not to the strike-through. Second, ignore percentages on the big-ticket DTC offers unless you were going to buy from that brand anyway — a $1,800 discount on a cabin that isn't sold on Amazon doesn't change what the Amazon cabins cost. Third, count the delivery window in the price. Every 2025 retailer roundup carried the same warning — "shop early — models sell out fast", "quantities are limited" — and for a freight-delivered cabin, a sold-out December is a real cost. If the sauna is a Christmas gift, the safest play is a plug-in infrared cabin or a blanket ordered early, not a barrel ordered late.
